Hi Avinash, What was the final outcome of this patient ?

Did the patient have a history of immunocompromise ? Multiple bilateral cavitary lung lesions could be due to infective emboli?

However there was no history of fever, so an infective cause appears unlikely. A malignancy or an autoimmune disorder has to be considered.

The patient chew tobacco and doesn't smoke it so makes a lung cancer unlikely. An autoimmune disorder which can cause this is GPA, EGPA or MPA. Sarcoidosis and PAN too can be considered.

All in all, an infective cause, simply by its epidemiology, must always be excluded. Eagerly waiting to know the patient's outcome.

    Thanks for sharing :)
